How it works/The Shame Board
A weekly roast of your mini-league
After every gameweek, the Shame Board writes up what your league actually did — the benched hauls, the bottled captains, the wasted chips — and hands you a card built for the group chat. It's free, and it stays free.
What it catches
The Shame Board reads your league's real gameweek data and picks out the worst decisions in it. Not "who came last" — the league table already tells you that — but the specific, avoidable, deeply human mistakes that make a mini-league worth being in.
Bench Tax
Points left sitting on the bench while the starting XI blanked. The most reliably painful stat in the game.
Captain Disaster
The armband on someone who returned nothing, ideally while an obvious alternative hauled.
Transfer Regret
The player sold days before they exploded, or the panic buy who went off injured on 20 minutes.
Chip Waste
A Bench Boost on a blank, a Triple Captain on a goalless draw. Chips are once a season. This remembers.
Rank Rout
The biggest fall down the table, named and dated.
The jokes are generated; the numbers are not. Every line is built from your league's actual picks, bench points, transfers and rank movement, pulled from the public FPL API. Nothing is invented — if it says a player was benched for 12 points, they were.
Who it picks on
Whoever earned it. The Shame Board doesn't protect the person who opened the app — if you benched a haul, you're on it. That matters more than it sounds: a roast tool that never roasts you gets found out in about two weeks, and the group chat stops believing it.
Sharing it
Every roast exports two ways: a single card for one specific disaster, or the full Shame Board table ranking the whole league. Both are sized for WhatsApp so they arrive readable rather than as a squinting exercise.
On Pro, you don't share it at all — it posts itself into the group chat every gameweek.
What it costs
Nothing. The Shame Board is free, every gameweek, for every league you're in — along and sharing. Pro (£14.99 a year) adds WhatsApp auto-posting, the AI Strategy Report, Rival Deep Dives and on-demand Roast Dossiers aimed at one specific rival.
Dave captained Darwin. Again.
"Third week running Dave's captain has blanked. At this point it's not bad luck, it's a lifestyle choice."

About the Shame Board
Do I need to sign up?
No. Paste your FPL team ID — or the whole link to your points page — and your leagues appear. No password, no account needed to read a Shame Board.
Will everyone in my league see it?
Only if you show them. Rival Radar doesn't post anything anywhere on its own unless you're on Pro and have deliberately set up WhatsApp auto-posting for that league.
How big can my league be?
Mini-leagues of any size work. The Shame Board picks the standout offender in each category rather than listing everyone, so a 40-manager league reads as easily as a 6-manager one.
Does it work for head-to-head leagues?
Yes — H2H leagues are supported alongside classic ones, which is unusual for mini-league tools.
When does each gameweek's roast appear?
Once the gameweek's points are final and the FPL API has settled. In practice that's shortly after the last match of the gameweek finishes.
